What is the SCS Gala and Auction?
The SCS Gala and Auction, held will be held on Saturday, February 11 at the Four Points Sheraton, is a much-anticipated event that is attended by over 200 parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends of our SCS community. Not only is this event a celebration of our beloved Saint Catherine of Siena School, but it is also a special night to also honor members of the SCS community who have dedicated their time and talents to our school in different ways.
Who will be honored at this year’s Gala?
This year we are honoring three ladies who have worked at our extended day program for over 20 years, Mrs. Sue Bonica, Mrs. Janet Colamaria (Mrs. C. as she is affectionately known to so many) and Mrs. Linda McGrath.
What do the funds raised support?
This annual Gala is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the money raised from the evening enables our school to continue to offer our students strong curriculum and enrichment programing, tuition assistance, merit scholarships for our Middle School students, and so much more! Every child at SCS benefits from the funds raised at this annual event.
What to expect at the Gala!
The Gala is an energy filled night that kicks off with the cocktail hour and the opportunity to see silent auction items in person, take a chance at our 50/50 raffle, and the opportunity to meet new parents, catch up with parents you haven't seen in a while. Followed by entering the grand ballroom for dinner, presentation of awards to our honored members of our community, an exciting live auction, and so much more!
Where will I Sit?
Guests can request seating by emailing Mrs. Narciso ([email protected]) in the advancement office, we will try our best to fulfil each request. If you are new to the school, or do not have a specific seating request, we will make sure to place you with other parents/guests with similar aged children or same grade/class.
What is the dress code?

Last year our silent and live auctions were packed with some amazing items! Some of the auction items included last year included a two-night stay at a cottage in West Yarmouth, tickets to Elton John, Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, New England Revolution, summer camps, and sports camps, and Principal for a day just to name a few. This year will be no different! 2 words -CELEBRITY CHEF! This really will be a can't miss event.
Is it too late to donate?
Not at all!
