  • Christ is the reason for this school.  He is the unseen but ever present Teacher in its classrooms.  He is the Model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.

The mission of Saint Catherine of Siena School is to provide a Catholic Faith-Based Education for children in a safe and trusting environment with an emphasis on mutual respect.  The school exists in the context of the parish community, to assist families in guiding their children spiritually, physically, academically and emotionally with a strong focus on Roman Catholic principles and values.
    We believe and trust that:
  • Teachers, parents, clergy and staff strive for excellence within the frameworks of this mission.
  • Every individual can make a contribution to this community and is encouraged to do so.
  • All members of this community treat each other, as they would like to be treated.
  • All members of this community will work together for the spiritual, educational and financial health of the school.
  • Students are prepared to be informed, faith-filled members of the larger community in an ever  changing society.

At Saint Catherine of Siena School we join you,  the parents and guardians, who are the primary educators of your children and to assist in the harmonious development of his/her spiritual, physical, moral and intellectual endowments.

WELCOME TO KINDERGARTEN AT SAINT CATHERINE OF SIENA SCHOOL

To really find out what is going on in Kindergarten each day, here are some questions that can get your child talking about the day's activities:

What letters are you working on?

Do you know the sounds the letters make?

Who is the Shining Star?

What did you do on the playground? With whom?

Did you have Music, Gym, Art, or Library?

Was anyone absent?

What was for lunch?

Ask your child about the work you find in his/her folder.

Ask your child about a prayer, poem, story or song they have heard.

UPDATE ON OUR LENTEN 100 ITEM FOOD COLLECTION

As of Friday, March 26th, Kindergarten has collected 166 packages of food. Thank you all so much. The last day to bring in items will be Wednesday, March 31st.

CELEBRATE HOLY WEEK WITH YOUR CHILDREN

Make memories for your children during this Holy Week. Find out what your parish does on these special days and try to go to at least one service with your children. If your children get restless there is no need to stay for the entire time. When you go to church with your children, you share your faith with them in a very concrete way. What is more, they also witness teh faith of many others. This year, give them the gift of participation in this most Holy Week.
