“Let the children come to me…for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (Matthew 19:14)  Each Thursday our students go to the chapel for Eucharistic Adoration.  This is a time for the children to be alone with Jesus in silent prayer.  Incorporated into their religious formation, it opens the door to contemplative prayer.  During their time with Our Lord, they pray for peace in their lives and peace in the world, for their families and for the burdens they carry, and sometimes just to sit quietly in His presence.  It is our prayer that what they learn as children will remain with them their entire lives.
